The annual meeting of the Trilateral Conference of the Constitutional Courts of Italy, Spain and Portugal took place in Rome, from 24-27 October. This year, the Conference’s theme was “The principle of proportionality and reasonableness in the constitutional jurisprudence, also in relation with the European Courts’ jurisprudence”.
The Portuguese delegation was formed by Judge Joaquim de Sousa Ribeiro, President of Constitutional Court, by Judges Catarina Sarmento e Castro and Maria José Rangel de Mesquita, and by Judge Pedro Machete, who elaborated and presented the Report of the Portuguese Constitutional Court.
